Privacy policy

The data controller is Mateusz Mróz, the creator of MangaShift. For anything concerning your personal data, write to hello@mangashift.com.

• the email address you enter in the beta sign-up form;
• the date and time of your sign-up and the wording of the consent you gave;
• technical data from your visit, such as your IP address, browser type and time of visit, recorded in server logs.

• Sending the sign-up confirmation and messages about the start of the beta tests: based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 398 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law).
• Running the site and protecting it from abuse: based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not sell data or share it for advertising. It is used only by service providers that process it on our behalf:

• Google Ireland Limited: receiving sign-ups;
• Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting and protecting the site and sending emails;
• Google Ireland Limited (YouTube): playing the demo video, only once you start it.

Google and Cloudflare may also process data in the United States. The basis is the European Commission decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission.

• Email address: until you withdraw consent, and no later than 31 December 2027, once we have finished announcing the start of the beta tests.
• Server logs: for as long as the hosting provider keeps them.

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing and to receive it in a portable form, as well as to object to processing based on legitimate interest.

You can withdraw consent at any time: reply to one of our messages or write to hello@mangashift.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of what we did before you withdrew it.

You can also lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.

Giving your email address is voluntary. Without it we cannot send you messages about the start of the beta tests. We do not profile you or make automated decisions about you.

When we change how we process data, we will update this page and the date at the top. We will write to people signed up for the beta tests about significant changes.
